About the founder

Mrs Olusola Babatunde is the principal consultant and creative director of One-Stop Celebration, a Pan African, state of art technology-driven, Mass Production Garment Company. OSC offers contract manufacturing services with a plan to have a purpose-built factory in Nigeria. Olusola is also the founder of OSC COLLEGE OF FASHION, which is focused on training, developing, and producing celebrated fashion entrepreneurs that are celebrated in the industry.

Mrs. Babatunde is a certified Master Trainer, a train the trainer sewing machine operator certified from IL&FS institute of skills in India, a US department of state Alumni, and holds an advanced entrepreneurial business certificate from Andrea’s business school, Barry University, Miami Florida. She is a Goldman Sachs scholar and an Entrepreneurial Development Centre of the PAN Atlantic University EDC Alumni, awarded a WED Ambassador for the entrepreneurial development centre, Olusola Babatunde holds a BSc Banking and finance degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University coupled with a Fashion and Marketing certificate from Central Saint Martin’s London. She is a certified computer-aided design and manufacturing trainer from Rich peace China.

She is committed to the empowerment of the youth especially women and girls, this she does through entrepreneurial development courses she teaches at the fashion school, Head trainer at the Human capital Development initiative of the Nigerian Export promotion Council, style house files and through personal mentoring program she runs for young ladies and women. She was the past National publicity secretary for the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN). She is one of the boards of trustees for the Association of fashion practitioners of Nigeria, member of Nigeria textile and garment Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (NTGMA) a part of the CBN and Textile/Garment manufacturers MOU to revive the industry.

As part of her efforts, Sola is the founder of the Nigerian Garmenting Group. Mrs. Babatunde has partnered with several government Empowerment agencies and NGO’s to provide fashion training scholarships to their beneficiaries. Sola was on the selection panel for Goldman Sachs 10,000 women scholarship program of the entrepreneurial development centre on the selection panel of the NEPC HCDI. Sola has trained over 2,500 students who have gone on to establish their own business.

OSC One stop celebration OSC is a certified, woman owned company consisting of consultancy, garment production company, a pan African fashion Training college and its own clothing line, founded over a decade ago, in 2009 by Mrs Olusola Babatunde who is passionate about using her skills and the 3 E’s of Educating, Empowering and Employing the African creative to reinterpret, reinforce and re-position what “Made in Africa” means. Working with these youths over the years has proven that, when given the right training, education and opportunity to earn a living, the Nigerian youth thrives in an atmosphere of meaningful consistent work and fair pay.

Each artisan’s training starts with handling the sewing machine i.e sewing machine operations, and pattern making ,their education, allows the display of leadership skills, which gives room for career growth and promotion to head machinist, supervisor, quality control, assistant production manager and production manager, or becoming an Entrepreneur themselves employing a minimum of 4 people each. In a Country like Nigeria, with high unemployment rate, Job training, employability skills and wealth creation empowers the Nigerian youth to become great leaders for themselves, their families, the Nation and the whole world. All our clothing lines are ethically and sustain-ably produced in our factory in Nigeria, original designs from our team, locally sourced materials, no child labour, fair pay and equal pay for women, no discrimination is our watch word.
