Course Description

Introduction

This course will provide an overview of how computer-aided manufacturing can be applied to the traditional skills of pattern cutting, grading, lay planning, and fashion design. You will also learn to use the Rich Peace CAD/CAM Software packages

This specialization course has been designed to provide a technological improvement to the industrial pattern makers, who will be able to apply their knowledge and experience in pattern making in a more efficient and productive way in the industry, revaluing themselves as professionals.

The course provides students with an opportunity to understand the importance of combining technology with creativity for a quality output.

• Creating Skirt blocks using CAD Software
• Creating bodice blocks using CAD Software
• Creating sleeves blocks using CAD Software
• Creating dress block using CAD Software
• Pattern grading
